Nyeredzi Lyrics and Translation
Hooona nguwo dzaakashonga
Look, the clothes she wears
Nyemwerero inobaya
A smile that pierces
Moyo wozorora
A heart finds peace
Uchamuooona
You’ll see her
Pose paanosvika
Wherever she arrives
Anoti makadii nemutsa
She greets with respect
Moyo wozorora
A heart finds peace
Uchamuoooona,
You’ll see her

PS in trying out this translation disappeared down a rabbit hole of getting to the bottom of “Ndoro Chena”
Ndoro Chena can refer to a couple of things:
•A white patch of hair on one’s head
•A white bead, shell, crown or ornament, (with a circular pattern) a practise dating back to Great Zimbabwe precolonial times when they traded

If you watch the video you will notice the lady with the patch of white hair…
PPS I have no idea what the tradition with the egg is about and if you do know please do share
