To
illuminate
your life is to,
concentrate,
upon the tiny little things,
linking moments like rings,
as each day goes,
the chain grows.
Small keys open large doors,
big ships sail with small oars,
cherish each gesture,
like kodak moment captures
reasonless laughter and carefree banter,
with people that make life a lil brighter, unexpected kindness,
amidst life’s craziness.
Promises fulfilled,
and answered prayers.
To live each
day in
smiling
suns.
I’m starting to realize that it is, indeed, the small moments that matter: a 5-min deep breathing exercise or a quick jam session of jazz or classical to get back to one’s self in the midst of a hectic, or otherwise, bad day is what makes the day, and life, worth it.
