Humanitarian, RuFF CuTT Studio owner and multi-platinum selling South African Reggae / Hip-Hop recording artist Menelik Nesta Gibbons aka Don Dada recently unveiled his latest musical creation, the powerful single titled “Rise Up.”

The powerful track fuses hip-hop with elements of reggae to deliver a familiar conscious rhythm that calls for resilience, unity, and social justice. Rise Up is a sonic journey of basslines intertwined with melodic strings and infectious rhythms inviting you to reflect on your own path and find strength in unity.

The track was produced by the legendary Grammy winner Bernard “Touter” Harvey of Inner Circle and Jamaican media mogul Delroy “Juice” Thompson founder of Jamaica’s Juice TV.
Don Dada has been a trailblazer in inspiring a new wave of optimism, urging Africans, both on the continent and in the diaspora, to join the forces for the betterment of future generations, to Rise Up.
His tracks such as Unity and No More look for healing and moving forward, eliminating social ills and uniting to become stronger together, his album ALKEBULAN changes the narrative of the negative events that affected our beloved Afrika and captures the essence and vibrancy of Afrika.
