There there hahahaha I thought this only worked in Uganda. Brings me to one of the most common Italian phrases that don’t make literal sense to me: “così così” which literally translates to “so so”,andddddd just like “there there”, it is used to mean “not good not bad”.
Don’t you just love etymology? The more you learn, the more you realize just how plain weird language actually is 😀
