Review of an Avon Black Suede Gift Set.
I got the Avon Black Suede Gift Pack from Secret Santa and delivered by Nozi Your Avon Lady.
Full disclosure, before this, Avon Black Suede would not have been on the list of cosmetics that I would buy, for myself. Having used it for over a month I can see why it gets rave reviews and it’s now definitely on my shopping list although not as a signature scent.
The Avon Black Suede Gift Pack came with:
•Black Suede (Eau de Toilette)
•Black Suede Body Spray
•Black Suede Roll-On
•Black Suede Hair and Body Wash
The packaging is interesting, gives it an exotic feel and just by the look, it’s a great addition to have on one’s vanity table, it gives off a rich taste vibe.

Avon describes the Black Suede scent as a classic blend of warm woody & green notes, highlighted with the scent of soft leather. Spicy Zest.
How I describe the scent…. A warm musky scent with rich fresh notes. 🤪
The combination of it isn’t overbearing unless perhaps one is in the habit of dousing entire bottles on themselves.

I think Black Suede can double as a unisex fragrance, it’s comfortable and gives a dependable vibe… On an interesting note: Avon Agents are mostly women and this is what they would pick as a scent a guy should smell like.
Of the entire lot, my favourite was the body wash, it lathers ever so richly, with a luxuriant foam, it definitely makes taking a bath a therapeutic process you smell fresh and clean. I ran out of shampoo and decided to use Black Suede Body Wash as a shampoo… it does say hair and body wash.
My hair was smelling super nice afterwards. But I did notice that the body wash is not eye-friendly, it stings if it gets in your eyes. Wash day was a bit of a soap opera. Can you tell my eyes looked reddish?

I feel the same as mattsnyder1970, alot of perfumes and colognes give me a headache. But, I do like the smell of my Jasmine lotion. It’s not overwhelming, its more of a light scent.

Yep, Jasmine is a delicate scent.
I’m in the fortunate spectrum of those who don’t suffer from overwhelming scents well except for some really obnoxious ones

Avon’s Black Suede range has 7 different scents you can choose from and the Black Suede Original is the most popular scent, although people’s preferences vary where scents are concerned. For more on Avon products, follow me on Facebook @avonwithnozizw

I do not have a signature scent. I use different colognes all the time. I am to discover which one truly speaks to me. For now, any cologne, as long it smells good, I use. And im not a big fan of strong colognes, I would be sneezing the whole time. The ones I use are not as strong
