If you were having coffee with me, I would be happy to have you visit my corner of the internet all Social Distancing Protocol observed…

What if you knocked on my door and I came out fully kitted out in protective gear, would you also be wearing your masks and shields? Asking for a couple of visitors who showed up unannounced and they were fully outfitted, while I wasn’t.. and I wanted to be like you know you could have just called or read my blog to see how I have been, but of course, I had to be a good host.
If you were having coffee with me, I would offer you eggs with your beverage and ask how you like your eggs; as long as they scrambled. I have perfected the art of making a killer scrambled eggs:
Step number 1 spread eggs evenly in pan as if to make a fluffy fried egg.

Step number 2 Flip the egg with an improper tool and boom scrambled eggs are served…
If you were having coffee with me, I would ask if you know that age-old advice about how you face your fears by, well, facing your fears.. To combat my almost obsessive need for structure, I have decided to randomly pick eggs from the tray such that they never know which I am going to eat next, keep them on their toes, and then *boom* you will be joining me for breakfast…

Ever sit and wonder about the first person to eat an egg, watched a chicken doing its business and then they were like I am eating the next thing that comes out of that chicken… Have you ever collected freshly hatched eggs? They are kinda… warm and er.. probably need to take a bath first.

If you were having coffee with me I would tell you that past week has been filled with power outages as the power utility company announced that some critical fault had affected power generation. I had an episode with a rat… see tweet below.
On the upside, the power company says that moving forward the power situation should be better as they have managed to repair the fault, though I am not holding my breath.
As expected on that vaccination front, the government has given a deadline that all civil servants must be vaccinated by 15th of October or else they must not report for work… Looks like the vaccine thing is fast becoming a passport and a valuable currency.

Been following the news of the stance by the UK on vaccines and the list of countries which they will consider as unvaccinated. It doesn’t matter that some of them use the exact same vaccination as the ones in the UK or even that they donated some of the very same vaccines to some countries and then they turn around do this…
Diplomacy must be a weird subject at the school of governance had I been a world leader, I would have in turn just also announced that we would treat the UK as unvaccinated and see how they like them apples, good thing I am not a president I guess.
Meanwhile in the wacky world of vaccinations, the Canadian health and drug authority has approved the change of names of the vaccines; Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will now be named Comirnaty, the Moderna vaccine will be named Spikevax, and the AstraZeneca vaccine will be named Vaxzevria. The changes are simply in name and should not indicate any other change.
I really don’t know how this seems like a good idea amidst all the problems in a vaccine awareness to just wake up, unprovoked and decide “Hey we are changing the names of vaccines you know and love into names you can barely pronounce which sound like pokemon names….”

I did read something about how Comirnaty is supposed to evoke a feeling of community, immunity and the mRNA technology at the vaccine’s core in combating Covid-19… I don’t feel it, but I am just outside looking in, would love to know from those in Canada if these names are… better?
