If you were having coffee with me, we would be hanging out with nothing more than a paint brush and a dream…….
I usually stay away from the news because it seems nothing good ever happens only violence, corruption, politricks, crime, inflation, disasters, outbreaks, floods, droughts, war and death……..
You watch the news and you ask yourself so many questions; if nothing good ever happens
Then I saw this article:
“We want to add colour the city”

Its the story about a duo with a simple passion, “To Bring Colour Back To The City” and remind people how amazing paint is…..
If you were having coffee with me I would tell you that Marcus and Nyasha run CaliGraph; a new age advertising agency focusing on township media and meaningful design.

They use graffiti murals to beautify the city, adopting graffiti as medium of advertising, they are giving the city some colour and doing things differently through various collaborations.

If you were having coffee with me I would tell you that their work resonates with me, I love art, I see the ugliness in the world and I try to paint over it with words;
If you were having coffee with me, I would tell you that I had a quick chat with them, since I am fan of street art and the literal interpretation of bringing back the colour to the sunshine city by one mural at a time.
If you were having coffee with me, I would tell you that, their favourite colour is gold;
“in everything we do we put the gold standard and in our opinion it is an inspirational colour”
They are willing to work and collaborate, to paint public spaces, to raise awareness and spread messages, colourful park benches, precast walls; if you let them, I bet they would paint even roads……
If you have an idea or space or just want to tell them you support their dream you can check out their website
Day 10 of my 25 days of festivities was about a news story that made my year #2018BOTY

That story is the elephant in the room but yeah we need more feel good news the kind that inspires to just do something for the passion and if you can make it pay out power to you!!!!
Thats the kind of entrepreneurship mindset I believe and not just simply chase paper and leave no legacy when you are gone
that tag that says I was here, remember me,
that is why I write!!!!
