Of Flamethrowers and innovation

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves,
“You know what? I want to set someone over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done”

Its a reflection of how technological advancement throughout human history is inevitably adapted into weapons.

The first person to discover a species is usually a scientist and the very next person is a chef… sometimes they might even be one and the same person.

Which is pretty much all you need to know about humanity.
