Of Moonlit Nites (x)

The big and bright autumn moon,
Turning night into a golden noon.
Silver shadows softly creep,
While the land quietly sleeps,
The stars stay awake till dawn,
Keeping watch beside the moon.
And wrapped in pearly light, soft and deep
The land drifts slowly to sleep,
As a gentle breeze moves through the air,
Carrying dreams from here to there.
