Open Skies
Something I wrote over a decade ago in high school and performed on stage while working through a most debilitating bout of stage fright.
Feel the magic in the air, a magician is about to perform the most grand feat ever ….. I am going to make you live for ever.
Freeze the time and picture this …..
lush green grass, cascading waterfalls ,
a cool refreshing breeze ,
And of course a clear blue sky
this is my enchanted land the source of my golden elixir which will immortalise you .
mystical is it for it is like…..
………… an empty page waiting to be written,
…………………a blank canvas waiting for for a stroke of finese.
From the days of knights in shining armour rescuing beautiful maidens and galloping of into the sunset of the open skies came the quest of the open skies
Some felt the allure of the skies and built machines to enable man to soar like a giant bird..
Imagine the ecstasy they felt….
But you need no such contraption to reach the skies I quest for…..
……………..only to remove the shutters from our mind`s eye and unleash your potential…..
We quest not to be written in history textbooks,
but only in engraved in our hearts for all eternity
“Imagination is knowledge ” a quote from Albert Einstein…. with imagination comes wonder and that differentiates us from other species ….
For no other creature wonders at the meaning of existence
“Imagination is key” and with it comes the motivation to make, to make dreams come true……….”
For yesterdays dreams are today‘s hopes
and tomorrow`s
reality
The only failure in life is not knowing how to be happy, the rest of no essence ..
hence never sweat the i small stuff ….and EVERYTHING is SMALL STUFF
There will always be open skies within you if reach within, smell the roses and everything melts away like snow to yield spring the sun blooming flowers and open skies
reach within the open skies and the sky will be the limit …
It’s never how long you live ..
but its about how you live and if u live it well
life being a journey.. and u travel safely and enjoy the ride
……………………..you will have lived forever…….
……….. conquer your open skies and set the world on fire ….
