The moon is out tonite Turning the darkness to lite A beautiful sight Hues of pale white Bathe the crystal nite A night silent and serene like a scene from a dream The unstirred perfection Of a clear pond reflection,
The moon is out tonite , Making the nite bright Silent all the same I feel it call my name to come out and play Come dance and sway Or perhaps join in a walk, Maybe pause to talk,
The moon is out tonite And its not lonely tonight For I walk beneath its light Moonlight dancing on my skin With delicacy and skill light blends with dark’s will A pearly mixture rushes forth Light without warmth
The moon is out tonite Pale rays of icy light Seemingly cold and lifeless Yet oddly bold and priceless Taking nothing Asking for nothing giving everything smiling face of the nighttime sun A, place for memories to run.
This is the third poem of yours I have read, and they are all very good. The last one I read seemed you were reading my heart.
I have a book of poems I am creating to publish. Not very long started. Only written about a dozen so far over the past year.
Thanks for sharing.
It is still early to tell. However, I am about to get my first novel in a series to the publishers. NEVER B4 ON NEW YEAR’S: When Faith Turns At Midnight.
Take Care.
