Agatha All Along
Agatha All Along is a Marvel miniseries based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Agatha Harkness. It is a spin-off series to the 2021 series WandaVision. Agatha All Along premiered on Disney+ on the 18th of September2024.

The series picks up the story three years after the events of WandaVision with Agatha regaining her freedom and enlisting the help of Teen, as they walk down, down, down, the witches road.
The Good
I loved WandaVision and thought Agatha absolutely killed it especially after the drop of the catchy jingle it was Agatha All Along, which inspired the title of this series.
Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness is in her element bringing to life the witch you cant decide if you like or hate, if you on her side or not… you know you shouldn’t trust her but here you are, following her along the witches road hoping to be proven wrong.

It’s a quirky and humorous watch with a supporting cast who understood the assignment endearing the watchers to commune with them in the witches ballad… I cant be the only who found myself singing along to the catchy tune.
The script is tightly woven with most of the plot threads explored and resolved, tying to WandaVision as well as setting up for the entrance of new characters in the MCU. Comic fans also hailed the costumes for their accuracy.
The final 2 episodes dropped on Halloween alongside Teacup making for a fun Halloween binge.
The Bad
The supporting cast don’t get enough backstory to explain motivations that would make sense of some of the decisions they make.

For a show called Agatha All Along I figured it would reveal more insight into Agatha Harkness but instead all we get is that she is misunderstood and no further clarification… beyond it being Agatha All Along.
The Ugly
A villain-centric series usually leaves one in a moral dilemma where you cannot support villainy but you also want them to succeed…

While the conclusion of Agatha All Along wraps up most of the plot-lines it feels lacking in terms of the accountability of actions and their consequences.. glorifying a certain abandoning of morals in the pursuit of our darkest wishes…
Final Thoughts
Agatha All Along is fun and engaging production the lightens up the grim genre with some Marvel magic.

Your thoughts.. if you will?
