The problem with that cartoon is that it makes the assumption that the people under the table are more ethical than the ones at the table and therefore them rising will make a difference to the country as a whole.
That’s a big assumption…
You raise an extremely very valid argument…
and thats how we get stuck in a seemingly endless loop of the very same play, same characters, just different actors and history repeating itself nevause we arent learning from it.
