We all want to make easy money, unless you are the lucky few who are set for life and don’t need to go hunting for side-hustles to make a few extra bucks. The internet has great potential to offer such opportunities and its also riddled with scams and cons that will rip you off.

There are genuine sites on the internet which pay people to do tasks or to complete surveys or even to transcribe audio and video files but oh you really put in the work and get like a couple cents per task.

One red flag to look out for is an offer too good to be true…

Imagine earning $20 simply to watch a Youtube video and getting a $20 referral bonus for inviting someone to join an affiliate advertising platform with a potential to earn you upto $400 in one day…

The are a number of suspiciously similar sites which are offering this unbelievable deal. They claim users can earn daily income for performing tasks like watching videos, playing games, testing apps, and other daily tasks.

How you join

You simply fill in the sign up page and register with a name, password and email and boom you are ready to start earning, no payments requirements.

How you earn money online

The sites have a dashboard with a task center where you can carry out the various daily tasks which include referring people or watching videos.

How you cash out

They will offer various Cash Out methods from PayPal to Western Union.

Is it a scam?

On the surface it looks legit, the websites are clean, very responsive and can be navigated on mobile devices. Some even have mobile phone apps to interact with.

The first speed bump to your earnings will be that you need to reach to certain threshold amount to Cashout for example earn $200. When you reach that amount you might see that there are a few more requirements such as having made at least 20 referrals and done 5 of the tasks.

When you finally complete all the requirements and request for your cashout, your payment status is going to stay on pending until you die, give up or whichever comes first.

For trial purposes I went through the process to get conclusive results. If they had surprisingly paid out, this post would be about me telling you how I earn $15000 a month just from watching videos and completing easy tasks on the internet.

What really happens?

I suspect that they are a part of click farm platforms that generate traffic for Youtubers. Have ever wondered where the people you pay for Youtube views, get those views from. Some have an army of bots and others probably employ devious tactics such this.

Some of the tasks require you to open pages and links that have adverts and they are probably collecting the bag for advert revenue.

Other tasks take you to phishing sites which can access your cookies data and other sensitive information which is data harvested for advertising purposes.

In the research for this article, I saw about 4 such platforms and there are probably more out there.

If you see any platform that follows the template outlined and offering high payments for simple tasks, mark that as as red flag… I recommend you exit the platfom and instead use your free time to read some wholesome content from my blog.
