Cut.
Fiercely protect what is of value,
but most of all protect your self.

First Cut.
Love deeply,
love completely
but most of all love your self.

Second Cut.
The kink in your hair etched,
on the ink on your skin.
Uphold the legacy.

Third Cut
The generation before you was taught silence.
But you remain silent no longer, break up, break over, break down break through..

    I particularly liked the “yourself” endings of the stanzas and the final “CUT”. Nicely done.

      PS its a simple word cut but suddenly it seems to have had a whole lot of depth I can almost imagine some sword kata
