Each day feels like we’re inching closer to the end of life as we know it; world war, civil war, technological singularity, pandemics, famine, floods, droughts, natural disasters, and man-made implosions. Spend five minutes watching the news and it’s mostly a highlight reel of doom and gloom.
That’s probably why my taste in entertainment skews hard toward fiction, fantasy, and sci-fi; just like my reading habits. Throw in some espionage, thrillers, mystery, action, and a sprinkle of horror, and I am covered. I tend to avoid non-fiction, “based on a true story” dramas, and reality shows. And don’t get me started on tearjerkers, I already live in the real world, I don’t need to see fictional characters suffer on top of that.
I have been doing reviews for almost everything that I watch or read that its become second nature to make mental notes on The Good | The Bad | The Ugly which has grown into the basic structure of my reviews.
As someone who writes what I want to read, I don’t like spoilers, and I don’t like someone forcing their opinion and bias onto me, but rather I prefer someone to present their thoughts and invite me to make form my own conclusion. That’s what I try to do with my reviews, to let you make up your own mind if you should add something to your watchlist or stay far away from it…

Your thoughts.. if you will?
